We will be posting answers here to questions or problems that have come in to our tech support department. Please check here first before calling or e-mailing us to see if your problem has been encountered by someone else.
You can check the version number of the Suite and all installed Modules by starting the Suite and selecting the pulldown Help > About Traffic Safety Suite.
Always be sure you have the latest revision of the Suite (RouteMaster) and the Module you are having trouble with. You can check for the latest revisions by going to our Download Updates Page and look at the revision number of the downloadable files. Only users who have signed up for our Software Maintenance Agreement have access to the Download Updates Page

| TECHNICAL BULLETIN: |
A major revision was made to the Suite and all modules. You need to make sure you are running version 6.0.13 or greater of the Suite and RouteMaster to be able to use the latest versions of any module. |
| The words on the buttons in the program is italics or too big and the words run off the button. |
This may be caused by Windows being set up with an odd 'Desktop Theme'. These themes change many settings in windows, including how type appears on the screen and on buttons. Some of these Themes are rather unruly and can cause problems in many programs. To check your desktop theme, in Windows, go to Control Panel and click on Desktop Themes.

Another reason this could be happening is you are missing a font needed by the Suite or the font is corrupted. Try reinstalling the fonts from your install CD under the MasterMind\Fonts folder.

You may have a space before the first letter you typed in the field. Remove the space and it should be fine. |

| I have a route that does not show up in the Route pulldown, but there's a blank record where it should be. |
Edit the route within RouteMaster. Be sure the route has a 'Direction' selected. All routes MUST have a 'Direction' in order to work properly within the Suite. |

We have now simplified the process of installing a new sign through a work item. The manual incorrectly describes this process on page 106. The process has now been simplified and SignMaster will easily lead you through it. If you have any questions, please call our tech support dept. |
