All agencies have a need to maintain a proper inventory of their traffic safety items but do not have the manpower or money to maintain some of the mammoth software packages found on the market today. That's where MasterMind's Traffic Safety Suite comes in. Our software is designed with the smaller agency in mind. Many of our users are shop/road personnel that have little or no previous computer experience, yet they are able to start using our software literally without even opening the manual. Most of our customers are rural townships and counties with 20 - 500 miles of road to small cities with less than one hundred miles of streets. Although our software could easily handle the larger agency, these agencies believe they need a program that 'does everything for everybody' and are willing to spend huge amounts of money to get it. What they find out is that these programs do a little for everybody and then nobody is happy.

Mile-Point Based System
Our Traffic Safety Suite is designed and written right here in our office by people who have been on the road and know what is needed to start and maintain an inventory of your traffic safety items. Our software maintains all information based on the milepoint length of a road in miles to the thousandth (123.456). You could also enter all data in kilometers to the thousandth and the system would be in metric.

Security

New to version 6, a built-in security system for users to log in. The security system can be turned on or off. When activated, one of the three levels of security can be set for each user of the system;

• View - Viewing access only of the data
• User - Add/Edit/Delete capabilities plus all reports
• Administrator - Full access to the system

When 'Security' and 'History' are activated, the Suite will track any changes made by each user.

Route Order Fine Tuning

Sometimes you may have a route in several sections. These sections can be entered in as separate routes with the same route name and number. Depending on how the routes were entered, they may or may not display in the proper order from beginning of the route to the end. Routes with the same name and number are not a problem in Suite 6. The Suite's fine tuning capabilities lets you force the routes into the proper order for printing in route lists and displaying on the screen.

Store GPS, XYZ Coordinate Info

Store Global Positioning System (GPS) and XYZ (State Plane Coordinate) information you have gathered for each traffic safety item in your agency. Information can be exported later into your GIS system for mapping purposes.
